Clutch help please

Clutch finally went out...and i need ya'll to help me make a decision...i don't have any performance mod's to my car...but i was curious if i should pick up a performance clutch or stick with the stock clutch...will i get gains from the performance clutch or just disappoitment??? and are performance clutch's better than stock ones or do they burn out faster??? All help is welcomed and appreciated.

Aftermarket performance clutches tend to wear out faster because they usually have a harder bite than stock.

IMO, if you don't race your car (that often), and you're not planning to mod it very much for power, I would just get a stock clutch. It's cheaper, and easier for daily driving. Of course, if you have plans for the car and plan on running it hard, I'd definately get the aftermarket one.

I got a new stock clutch, I have i/h/e, I drag race and autox occasionally. It does slip for drag racing, but holds up fine for autoxing. I've driven cars with aftermarket clutches, they felt nice, I was able to chirp 3rd, but I wouldn't want to have it for my daily driver. My .02.
