ok guys, I have been having some 3rd gear grinding problems for some time now, I think its the synchros. At one point I couldnt press the gas in 3rd gear at all without it forcing the shifter out of gear. I babied it for about 3 weeks and all the sudden it started working well again, except for a couple times at high revs.
Anyway, I need to replace my tranny and I want some opinions on:
1) any performance mods I can do to a H23 tranny to have better performance in terms of adjusting the gear ratios??(anyone have one for sale)?

2)while I'm replacing the tranny I figure I might as well replace the clutch too... anyone recommend Clutchmaster or ACT??? I want something I can use to drive everyday but I want optimum performance at the track as well.

3)As for a lightened flywheel, what brands would you recommend, and those of you with these mods... What kind of HP gain can I expect?

I believe there is still a groupbuy on clutchmasters right now for 20% off at groupbuycenter.com. I just got my stage 1 but haven't had it installed yet so no reviews from me. I've only heard good things about them though.
