i was working on my friends car and we changed out the deck and put in a used cd deck. after connecting all the wires it turned on for a couple seconds, then without turning off the car i unplugged the wiring harness and replugged and it did not work, checked and the acc fuse was blown so we replaced that. the stereo never ended up working and the clock isnt working either now...any idea on what happened??
thanks so much, im going to go check that out today, i guess the acc fuse being blown just threw me off and i didnt think about looking for a different fuse...and yeah i didnt disconnect the battery, i never do, maybe next time ill remember. usually i work with the car off, not yesterday lol
thanks, it worked, one question now is what color is the wire that goes to the power antenna?? i kno that on the new harness it was blue but i dont know what color the wire is on the harness i cut off, there was a conflict on the chart i used but i figured out that the brown with white strip was the rear speaker. any help is appreciated

What you cut off the factory harness instead of using an adapter harness = FAIL.
