Clock and Stereo both not working

i was working on my friends car and we changed out the deck and put in a used cd deck. after connecting all the wires it turned on for a couple seconds, then without turning off the car i unplugged the wiring harness and replugged and it did not work, checked and the acc fuse was blown so we replaced that. the stereo never ended up working and the clock isnt working either now...any idea on what happened??

Check the clock/radio fuse....it's in the under hood fuse box.

there's two fuse boxes- one under the hood, and one in the driver's side kick panel...

and yeah, it's prob the clock/radio fuse under the hood if u didn't disconnect the battery prior to messing with the radio

It is one of the fuses on the top row, closest to the firewall. 4th gen's and 5th gen's both have 2 fuse boxes.

What you cut off the factory harness instead of using an adapter harness = FAIL.
