That is the blower RESISTOR off the USDM model. The TRANSISTOR has an aluminum heatsink where that one has a ceramic block.

HTH,

Like they said that's not a transistor that's just a resistor pack. It's not the same thing and it will not work.

And be sure to get the wiring harness for the Power Transistor as well because it IS different than the Resistor's wiring harness.

go to the junk yard and pull one from an acura CL/RL/TL. I think the late model legend may even have it. I pulled one a few weeks ago from either an RL or a legend and it was the same thing. they're easy to get to too, just remove the glove box and it's right there. much easier access than where ours are mounted.

wutangben: you're gonna have fun finding an air mix motor... I tried one from an Accord but it doesn't work well so unless you can get a few different ones from different cars at a scrap yard for cheap and try them, you better get a JDM air mix motor. I ordered a kit from volksray and just received it this week. I believe it includes everything you need except the control unit. I could check to make sure though. The best part is that you even get the connectors. I didn't have a connector for the relay and the transistor so I used some clips you crip on the wire that goes on those pins like for speakers connectors and put some electrical tape around so they can't touch each other and it works well, though don't pull too hard on the wires :P

And before someones ask I haven't start working back on it yet since the car is at the body shop this week, should have it back saturday, so I might be able to start hooking the air mix motor and wiring everything up sunday if the weather is nice.
