Climate Control Fix Became Dimmer Issue..

Hey guys... I used the climate control fix found here:
FAQ: 4Gen Climate Control Fix (flickering lights, non changing vents, sporadic a/c)
The fix worked great and my ac is now working.. HOWEVER..
My speedo no longer lights up when my headlights are turned on, also my gas/temp gauge are on and bright till I turn my lights on and they get very dim..
I was thinking it could be the dimmer.. but I doubt it, it just seems too convenient that it would go at the same time that I took the climate unit out.

Any ideas would be awesome. (ps-I dont think it's that I need a new instrument panel, because it works fine until I turn my headlights off, also my blinkers still blink on the inside panel)

Check your dimmer switch. if it doesnt click when you push it all the way up replace that first. then try the black relay box behind the clock cover youll see it I think theres a white clip that goes into it. It should be held on with one screw right next to the clock. I had the same problem, but not right after I did the climate control fix, and I replaced both of those now it works perfectly.
