clicking sound from Passenger seat

I've had my 94' lude for a while now. Its got over 180k on it. And for years now, I've been hearing a clicking sound coming from underneat the passenger seat (and ocassionally from the drivers seat). It happens whenever I come to a stop or accelerate or corner. I can't find what it is. Has anyone else experienced this?

do you have to remove the seat to take care of it?

well for me, its definitely coming from the seat. It sounds like its right under it. I think I'll remove the seat to check it out. I'll first remove the seat and drive around...If I dont' hear it, then its got to be the seat.

I have noises coming from the headliner area, and from the center console/shift knob area, I 've taken the headliner piece completely off as well as the passenger seat and the center console. I have yet to remove the Soonroof and the sunroof assembly. The noise is still there and it's even louder than before ( grrrrr).

I shout not even bother, just turn up the volume and you won't hear 'em any more!!

There is a technical service bulliten that addresses that knocking sound from the seats. I can't remember what it is, but if you can get access to the bulletins, it'll tell you how to fix it.

I have that same clicking sound but it usually seems to make the noise when I push in the gas pedal... Drive around and tap in the gas a little bit and see if you hear it every time you tap the gas pedal.

"MOTOR" automotive repair manuals has a software package that my brother has on computer at his garage. You might find something on line, not sure. I'll try to check it this week and let ya know.

Take the seat out and check if anything seems loose.

hey guys, I'm resurrecting this super old thread because someone mentioned that there might be a technical service bulletin on it. Does anyone know anything more about this TSB?
