Clear fogs + lamin-x film

I've got clear oem fogs and I've been using yellow bulbs for a while and one just went out. Instead of buying more yellow bulbs I picked up some yellow lamin-x film. Turned out ok, just need to install them to see how yellow it acutally is.

I also have the Lumin-x film on mine... didn't want to spend the money on real yellow jdm fogs when I already had the clear fogs. It's the same effect for a fraction of the price.

Must admit, clean install/cutout you got there.

They're acutally a little bit darker of a yellow in person. I couldn't get my camera to reproduce the color exactly.

The other benifit of doing this is it protects your fog outer lens from chips.

On another note I had another set of clears and I opened them up and inside the projector lens was cracked, pretty much split in half on both fogs. Not sure how that happened.

try setting the exposure a little longer or to night mode and you will get better color and you will get the pritty 6point star from both the hid projectors and the fog light projector

Looks pretty good. I did the PIAA Ion Yellow bulbs instead tho, so I can switch back to clear if ever I get bored of the yellow look.

Well the film comes off if I ever want to go back to clear. Piaa bulbs are costly to replace when they go out. I won't be switching back to clear because yellow/amber light isn't just for looks it works better in the rain and fog.

Oh I realize the film can be removed...just a preferance I guess. It's just alot easier to pop in a new bulb than fiddle with film. The bulbs are about 30$CAN each and they last a long time. I figure if I get 2-3 seasons per bulb, it's worth it.

This is what it looks like with the Ion bulbs...pretty close to the real thing
