Checking Timing...

I searched and didnt come up w/ a answer. =]

Busted out the timing gun over my friends house and we both kinda hesitated and went.. uhhh where the hell is the marks...

I opened up the manual and from waht i could infer it said to check under the dash on the indicator lights or something?

Not very clear directions on that.

its a 93 Si.
I adjusted my valves last night and when i ran it hard to test it my friend was behind me and he said im getting some blow by at top of 2nd and top of third when im getting on it. He said i might be running lean and getting detonation. Because i have re-grinded cams and im probably not getting enough fuel w/ the added lift/duration. (So i wanna advance the timing alittle, or get a FPR)

Thanks,
Creighton
