parking poles! wow

if only he had the bumper lights that shine when you signal a certain direction........

actually some had that air freshner on this board too.........he said it was more a "air ionizer" whatever that meant....just some foam or something that went into the trunk

lol same here ^ ... give him props for gathering all those jdm goodies though, some just like to spend on more 'rarities' like collectibles i suppose. But yah, the bumper pole thing is a freaking eye sore. If I parked that somewhere around here, I don't think it would be there the next day as kids would prob play with it and tear it off.

oh wth it's retractable? I see, I thought it was just something you can attach/detach on your own... is it auto retractable like an antenna? or it just a push in pull out kinda thing. I'd also imagine you'd have a nice hole in your bumper too if you ever decide to remove it, boooo.

pretty weird but cool project.

does the DSP really sound that much better than a good amp / head unit / speaker combo, if at all?

a local guy has the "air refiner" for his 3g, apparently, though i've yet to see it...

i'm quite pleased to see that 4th gens still had the headlight washer option... as far as i can tell, at least on third gens, that was a UK/Europe only option...

Why were the USDM Preludes left so...bare? It really doesn't seem fair. We may not have a need for a lot of their options, but some we might.

^price

remember, preludes fully loaded over here were 25k + and fastly approaching the 30k mark. with all these other options, it would have jumped the price well into the 45k mark (someone actually had a jdm fully optioned prelude bought a long time ago, he paid around that much for it)

that just wouldn't work in the US market, maybe if there was insanlyl high demand (as we all know there wasn't) so they never thought to add these over here. the prelude was designed to be japan's grand luxery sports coupe and not a "sporty car" over here

^^^ what he said...

even for a 3g, to buy one new, you were shelling out around $16,000... in 1988...

I guess I didn't consider the price of the vehcile when it was new...I'm thinking in terms of now, lol. It still makes me sad to think of the JDM pieces that I will never get for my Prelude.

The bumper pole is kinda cool, the seatbelt retracting things are pretty lame...
