check out my results!

went to my first drag race this weekend. here are the results;

first run (ever)
r/t .964
60' 2.505
330 6.927
1/8 10.590
mph 67.01
1000 13.754
1/4 16.427
mph 84.23

92 si, auto, injen intake and arospeed muffler with custom piping.
best reaction time of the day was 3rd run @ .529 (.500 tree)

during the elimitation rounds i was one of the last 6 cars, for some reason i dont know y, i lifted off teh gass ever so slightly* at the end and lost by .1216 (top 4 cars where prize cash cars, urrr)

the fastest run of the day was the first run. after that i was running very consistently around 16.6


* = i double guessed myself and i thought i was faster than dial in


what do u guys think for a first timer?

Pretty good..get your 60 ft times down a little and you'll be good. We had a guy in an Auto Si run 16.1 last weekend.

you could knock off a good .2 on the 60foot. that should bring your quarter time down about .3-.4 seconds.

if you're using an underhood intake, try the stock with a dropped resonator and see if you get better results.

other then that, not bad at all.
