Ok, so i have this odd problem that has been going on for a few weeks now. I have a '93 prelude VTEC model. Recently the check engine light will come on once the car is warmed up, but it comes on at random. I could drive 10-15 miles one time and it will never come on, yet another time i just get on the highway and it pops on. I noticed it seems to only happen once i hit about 50 mph or so. The part that is seriously bugging me is that if i turn the car off after the light comes on, then turn it back on, the light is no longer on, so it makes it difficult trying to diagnose the problem. Anyone have something similar happen or have any idea what the culprit might be?

Have you tried to pull the cel code?

I did, but all the mechanics around here seem to only have a '96 and up computer hook up. Mine dosen't have a hook up like they have so i have no clue how to go about pulling the codes. I have a book that tells me what the code means once i have it, but no way to actually pull it.

Thanks man. seems that I couldnt find the plug because it was actually plugged into something, not hanging like all the pictures i saw. After pulling the codes its the left side O2 sensor. I kinda figured it would be the O2 or mass airflow sensors. Sucked up a LOT of water in a bad rainstorm a few days ago and thats when the problem started. Just need to figure out if i can clean it and reuse it, or if i need to fully replace.
