Check Engine Light!!!

Help Me! I hit a pothole the size of Montana Sunday night and a minute later my check engine light came on. I drove another few miles and it stayed on. When I got home, I shut the car and restarted. No light, then I drove around the block, and it came on again. What could of caused this? I thought the ecm chip might have gotten jarred loose from the fuse box, but I check everyone one of them. All good and In. Any suggestions? PLease help me!

Lets start by pulling the code, and report back here with it, , otherwise, I have no clue what is wrong.

I'm gonna put it on a machine tomorrow after work. I drove it today and it was fine. The light came on, but no power loss at all.
In fact, when I drove it harder, the light didn't come on. It came on after I eased into it. ???
Baffled......

Right under the dashboard behind the center console, there are 2 connectors, pull out the blue one with 2 pins. insert a paper clip into the pins to bypass the ecu to show up the codes for you.

To obtain the correct code you will need to let us know how many blinks there were. How to read the code? One long blink with 5 short rapid blinks, that is code #15 which is the igniton output signal. (thats for example) let me know what the code is and ill look it up and post it here.
