Several people like Phillips bulbs, and they are rather cheap.

I have gone through 2 sets of PIAA in 1 1/2 years. I finally said screw it, and put the stock lights back in.

Sylvania Cool-Blue or Silverstar... I have had my Cool-Blue's for about a year without problems. Sold at any local autoparts store.

Is the silverstar that much of a difference between the stock? What about the silverstars verse other aftermarket lights like APC(I know what they look like verses stock, a friend pt them in and there was hardly a difference, but there was a slight difference)

Any one have before / after pics of either the cool blue or silverstar?

Thanks
-Bill

I've used a few actually: Nokya, Hiper Industries, and Raybrig

I started with Hiper back in the days with no problems whatsoever. Had them on for about a year or so, but wanted to go brighter and brand name so forked up my chump change for Raybrig.

True, they were some bright lights and didn't seem blu-ish, but they blew out in like 5 months.

I was planning on going back to Hiper, however...I got JDM one piece headlights and had to go the H4 route so bought the Nokyas. They lasted for a while until 1 bulb burned out several months later. I said, forget it. Back to stock.

In conclusion, Hiper = good and cheap...Raybrig = brightest ever, expensive, burnt out...Nokya - good, blue, bright..somewhat cheap

My friend has MTEC in his 2000 Maxima and they have still lasted a year later after melting all his wiring. He now has the upgraded wiring harness and they're still going. They are very BRIGHT and WHITE, not blue at all. So take your pick.

I have ebay ones.. they're from eurodezignz.com (I think) They look good.. they're cheap... and they have a lifetime warranty.... even if you drop them they'll replace them... got a set for like 12 bucks... can't beat that.

Those are the ones im stuk with now. They definatly false advertise on ebay. The bulbs don't have the blue tint the say they do. The only good thing about them is the war. They are bright and really white though.

my friends euro designs blew within the week.
and you have to pay for shipping both ways for warrenty. so it's pretty much like buying another set. he got red high beams and they looked orangish pink.. they just seemed like painted h1's.

I had my mtec (4933k, perfect blue tint WOO!) for about 4 months and they are blue and perfect. the company is now tied to mugen for you whores

the silver stars. my friend has a set (initial lude) and they are whiter then stock but next to mine you can see the difference. his aren't as blue.

get mtec!

ok... well silverstars are real bright compared to normal... and their white. compared to apc they are about as bright. the cool blues are bluish but they are very low visibility. i work at advance auto.. now would be a good tiem to buy new bulbs cuz they are on sale now for buy 1 get other 1/2 off. and save an additional 6. haha... im like an advertisement.
peace,
nate
