isn't your tranny grinding in 3rd? you might as well get the engine, tranny, and ECU from the same person. it would suck to have to pull the tranny later on cuz its grinding so bad.

gave up on the f22b?

well, its either turbo of VTEC......i dont know if i want to invest the dollars in turo......plus a lot more things can go wrong. I was also thinking about buying another 4th gen, i know someone that can get me into car auctions. getting another letting it be my "toy car" and returning mine to "stock look" just an idea though.

You don't do things b/c of what other people think. You just said that you feel it has a lot of potential...who cares what others think if you liked it? People were telling me not to get my rims powdercoated black, but it was the best aesthetic choice I made so far...now every fool around SoCal is doing it...

What's your point. . . I want unprotected sex, but don't want all the risks.

To answer your original question, P13's generally run under $200.

Unless you're going to put an Nissan SR20DET in there, you're not going to find any honda motor that isn't a risky turbo project...

Your going to spend like 1450 on engine and ecu. And around 1950 on a full swap. Thats 500$ and you get the tranny, i think you get a few other things with the full swap tho.

In another thread you mentioned that you were thinking about getting just a h22 tranny now you are thinking of getting everything but the tranny. If your current tranny has problems you should just do a full swap and not cut corners. I am sure you can sell your current motor and tranny to some accord owner.
