use Honda MTF

Take off the front right tire. the drain bolt is just a fitting for a 1/4" socket wrench, its all the way at the bottom of the tranny. I had to use an impact wrench on mine cuz it was on so damn tight. The filling bolt is like 4 inches up and like 2" to the left of it, its 17mm. it was a pain in the ass to loosen on mine as well.
Just take off the fill bolt then the draining bolt and let it drain into a pan

filling the tranny is also a ***** cuz the fill bolt is kinda blocked by the car's frame, so you'll need one of those oil filler things (the cone thing, i forgot what its called!) with a long flexible tube to reach the filling hole. fill it till some fluid comes out of the top. make sure the car is level.

i dont have any pics from when I did it and I don't have time to make scans of my helms, doh. its a start though

an easy way to do it, is buy about 2-3 feet of clear tubing, attach it to a oil filler cone, and put the tube through the top of your engine down to your tranny and stick it in the fill hole...you'll just need 1 person to help you dump the oil in while you hold the tube in the fill hole!

i think it's easier then using a turkey baster or any other method!

if its a manual i would use honda manual transmission fluid, and i believe it takes about 2 1/2 quarts to fill it up if im corect, but it is a pain in the a$$ to get the fluid in if you dont have a device to get it in there, you the drain plug and the plug you fill it with both have square indentions in them I just took a ratchet and placed it in there to get it out, used 3/4 inch drive i believe to get the larger one out. both of the plugs are located on the passenger side of the transmission close to where the passenger side axle goes in the tranny. Neways to get the transmission fluid in i just took a small funnel head that came with something else that had the same threads as the bottle of tranny fluid, then i attached some hose to it and sealed it tight and just squeezed the bottle till it was empty....Took a long time..im sure there is some type of devise for this but...mine worked ! sorry i dont have any pictures but hope this helps

Make sure you remove the fill bolt first!!!
You dont want to remove the drain bolt, only to find you can't fill it back up.

I bought an oil pump from pep-boys, it looks like a big hand lotion pump with a hose on the nozzle end. It has a clip thingy that keeps the end stuck in whatever your filling.

oil change capacity for the tranny is 1.9 quarts
