Changing the timing...

When I installed my h23a distributer on my jdm h22a i just stuck it on there pretty much....i want the timing to be factory but have no idea where that might be.... if i turn left or right (the distributer that is) which way retards/advances my timing.

Just get a timing gun and play with the distributor until you get the timing to 15. Spec is 15 + or - 2... so I have mine set to 17, still within spec but advanced from 15 for a little more power.

To find out the stock timing is look at the sticker on the underside of your hood. It will tell you what the stock specs are for the ignition timing.
