CF hood fitment

I just put my VIS hood on and we cant seem to get it just right. the drivers side, close to the front is kinda popped up. I havent been in any accedents so i know thats not the problem. So i am wondering, is it just they way it is sitting, cause my friends hood is doing the exact same thing.

How does everyone elses hood fit??

no, no pins. I have some nice Sparcos but i am hesitant to put them in.

I hope i can get it straight, even though its not very noticeable, I can tell and i hate that. Oh well, maybe if i get some JDM headlights, it will take my eyes off it haha

I just got a Way Sun hood from Impact parts. Yeah I never heard of the company either, but it fits well except for that raised side. I'm gonna put pins in to bring it back down.

I FI fits like a dream. No gap on either fender and it goes all the way down with out any gap. I also have no hood latch. I had a VIS but I didn't like as much as this new FI hood. The VIS had major gap on the drivers side.

well is not that there is a bad gap, we just have to get the little gap there is even on each side.

I got mine off of a group buy in Honda-Tech.com. Look in "Best Buy" it was 350 shipped. I saved $50 on shipping cause a friend and I had them shipped together.

my vis fits great

you might just need to do a little adjusting on the passenger side... ie like.. unbolt it a lil bit and slide it accordingly

Ok coo, i just wanted to know if it was the hood or just they way we put it on. We would have played with it more but it at 9pm last night it was pretty cold, haha and we had no garage.

well the hood fits perfect. i just had to play with it some more. it also helped that i had light this time and it wasnt as cold.

its so much more fun to drive when you add something to your car. now i all i need are JDM headlights, then after that, ill want to add more.
