ok i would like to do a 4th gen to 5 gen center console swap and wanted to know if anyone had ever heard of this because i have searched with no luck. my reason for doing this is because i hate the thing running through the entire car and the previous owner did too i suppose because he cut it out of the car. "SERIOUSLY", i will post pics shortly. any info or help will be appreciated, i don't want to start without knowing anything, but so far thats what it looks like i'm gonna end up doing.
most ppl just put the 94-96 console in that doesnt have the sex blocker. never heard of someone putting a 5g console in a 4g. update and take pics if you do.
I seriously doubt this is possible. The 5th gen has different dimensions on the front firewall compared to the 4th gen. It wouldn't match the interior profile (nor mounting points most likely) of a 4th gen.

^ he's talking about the center coonsole in the 92/93's how it goes all the way to the back seats and splits the two...you know blocking the owners from having seks.
So they sometimes switch over to the 94-96 that stops right after the front seats, allowing you to have seks back there if you're under 4' I guess...
Only 92's have the sex blocker thing ive looked and looked EVERY 93 ive seen has the backseat console just like 94-96 minus the woofer.. but the front console is just like the 92 my 93 SI has no cup holder is identical to 92's but the rear seat doesent have the lump.. its the lil black thing with a slot to hold things. It says online in generation year to year changes that lump vanished in 94 same year it got cup holder and the e-brake on side. but i think thats wrong i think the lump vanished in 93.. unless previous owner took it out and put 94-96 backseat console in my car but i doubt it. Any other 93 owners what does your backseat console look like big lump or little one? haha

Seriously you guys just need to go read bboixtc's thread on preludepower.com The 92 had the console that ran between the back seats. the 93 had the console that was completely useless but it didnt go past the front seats. the 94-96 had the cupholder with a storage compartment, and the speaker in the back only came in 93-96 VTEC models. the specific trims ie S Si and VTEC had nothing to do with the type of console you had in your car.
