Center Console.. RIDDLE inside! :) - Honda Prelude Forum

Well...

I am a Prelude with a center console that starts from the dash and ends at the rear, dividing the interior in 2 parts, and making it HELL for anyone that sits in the back. What year am I?

If you guessed 92, you're right! AHH! I hate it! You know how people back in the days went to the local canyon, parked, and did it in the back seat? I CANT!! haha

What do you guys think?

****Oh yeah, if anyone has those COOL center consoles that they're willing to sell, let go, or trade with, lemme know! I want armrests and comfortable back seats for people sitting back there (not like theres a lot of foot space anyways).

Would the 96 center console (where the ebrake is at) even fit? Or would I have to move the e-brake? How hard is that?

Oh yeah, I'm also looking for interior pieces. Like the center vents and door panels.

my 92 feels completely different inside than my friends 95, all cause of the console, but im too lazy to remove it

I am a fan of my big center console, because it gives me a place to store stuff, and its not like taking out that center console is gonna give you enough room to poke some girl, unless your like 4'3"

if u wanna fool around inthe car do it in the passenger seat.

first, buy one of those reflective windshield things so no one can see from the front and make sure u have dark tints. then when u got the girl, put the passenger seat all the way back and recline it. seems feasable. not as good as a full size back seat though, lol

The big console in the back is nice for storing things but yes it is extreamly un-comfortable for anybody to sit back there...but then again even if the console wasn't there it'd still be darn un-comfortable...but ya'll gotta understand...the '92 prelude is perfect for cheapskates...when 4 peeps wanna go out u can say sorry i can't fit 4 people

Does anyone want those two pieces that PreludeNYC showed pics of? I actually installed a 1992 console in my 1993 for the added space (what a God-send!), and have just have them lying around.
