okay, so i got in my car today, and the console is broken right in between the shifter and the ash tray and by the ebrake handle next to the passenger seat.

what can i do to fix this? Glue would help, but i do not think it would be strong enough and the only thing i can think of to use would be plastic model cement. anyone else ever "fixed" this?

Get a new one. Mine broke right there, too, because of that damm DC short shift adapter. I dont have that problem anymore cause of my 4bidden short shifter

Take the console off and epoxy that sucker back together. A tube of 2-ton epoxy has got to be cheaper than a whole new console.
