CEL when hitting VTEC

No CEL's when I start it up and get going moderately. But when I get on it, and hit VTEC and above, the CEL comes on. But when I get back home and shut it off, it's gone when I crank it up again. Anyone know whats up with this?

BTW, I think my knock sensor is busted, could that cause this to happen? But I can distinctively feel and hear the VTEC crossover point. Maybe it's advanced too far and knocking at high rpms? *I believe I have it at 15 degrees* Any clues? TIA!

Buhahahahaha! Yea, MIL = CEL = That Damn Light

I was rethinking that it might be something else because a faulty knock sensor wouldn't let the motor switch over to VTEC cams....
