CEL light appears but no codes. - Honda Prelude Forum

Hey guys, I was driving my lude the other day, and as I was getting on the freeway I gave it a little gas then right after I shifted my cel came on. So I pulled over at the next exit into a parking lot to scope it out. I opened the hood and everything looks fine, so I took a paperclip to pull the codes. I put the paper clip in the "wire thing". I don't know what its called.
So I turn the car on, and the cel just stays on.. ? no blinking and after 5 seconds the SRS light starts flashing. Any ideas??? I know I put the paperclip in the right place because I was just looking at pictures on how to properly do it. Thanks

You didn't start the engine right? Should flash if you jump the 2 pin blue connector behind the radio and turn the key to ON but don't start the engine.
