CEL 9

So, I am getting a CEL 9. Though, this is a brand new disitrbutor installed within the last 9 months. Any pointers?

Also, when doing the check, is the SRS light suppose to light up also?

Exchange the dizzy ? ... you sure its on the right way when you installed it ? ..

how does the car run, any other symptoms?

I think to properly get the SRS fixed a dealer should need to look at it .. I wouldnt necessarily mess.

The check engine light would come on when the car is warmed up and idling. Though, once you start the car and drive around. Anytime you idle or sit @ one point. The CEL would turn on. Also, I have the infamous hesitation. Running H22A w/JDM P13. Checked inside the disitributor, it is all clean.

According to the Helms...

"No. 1 cylinder position sensor"

How long have you had this CEL? Any other problems?

The CEL just popped on yesterday.

Problems - Just the hesitation. Its been sluggish. I am going try and get it retimed and see if anything else will do.

Going to try this later:

Updated: Receted ECU. After driving again. The light came up... Same thing.

When measuring the ohms on the lines, I had about a 450~ between the two connection and with testing each individual one to the ground. I found 0 connection.

Should I go ahead with a test harness attach to the ecu?

if i am reading this right and you found no continuity between the body ground and the terminals of the connector you have to replace your distributor housing. i am not sure i understand what you are saying though.
