Cel

Any of you guys hollowed out your cat or ran a test pipe, did it throw your CEL? I am going to run a test pipe and don't want that ugly ass orange light on all the time.

I don't have a hollowed cat or straight pipe, but it shouldn't trip a code. We do not have the extra O2 sensor after the cat.

Looks like you've got a '96 Lude (user name), which was OBD-II. Check to make sure you do/don't have the extra sensor after the cat. If you do have the sensor and want to use a test pipe, look for an O2 sim (simulator). I'm sure someone makes o2 sims for Hondas.. if you can't find any, hit me up and I'll do some research for ya.

There wasn't any that I saw. It is a 94 motor with the ODB II to ODB I conversion harness. If you know anything else let me know thanks.

You'll be fine then, as long as it's an OBD1 ECU you should be good! I don't throw any codes with my test pipe either.

That's right.. I didn't know you had an OBD-I conversion, so in that case, don't even worry 'bout it.
