hi, i pulled the code for a cel i'm getting, and it came up as cel 41 "heated oxygen sensor heater circuit." i found the flow chart for testing it, and i think i'm just gonna replace it. my question is does anyone know if this is the primary or secondary o2 sensor? are both heated? i searched and didn't really come up with a definite answer. thanks!

That's the primary (before the cat) O2 sensor. I recommend oxygensensor123.com and just get the plug and play Denso. Don't bother with the heated sensors unless you have an extra ~$100 you just can't wait to get rid of.
so i changed out the o2 sensor, reset the ecu, and still have the same cel . do i need to do anything besides pulling the clock radio fuse and waiting 10 secs to reset the ecu? do i have to "clear" the code with a obd2 scanner or anything?
i guess my next step would be to replace the ecu with a known good one to see if i still have a cel. can anyone confirm this? thanks.

Yes, just pull the fuse. Even if the problem isn't fixed, that will get the CEL to turn off temporarily. If you drive ~20 minutes without the light coming back on,then you're good.
i mean i'm still getting cel 41, "heated o2 sensor heater circuit", so i'm not really sure to tell u the truth. i was assuming it was the primary bc if it was the secondary it would say something about the cat being under threshold or something right?
p.s.- it's good to know that an indy fan can help out a baltimore fan, lol.

You mean the superbowl that your Raven's WEREN'T IN? That one? Unless you are a Saints fan, you've got NO ROOM there.
You might want to use an OBDII scanner to get more specifics on the CEL code...and quit dissin my Colts...Around here autozone pulls codes for free, then you can check the Helms to figure out what to do from there.
