cat or no cat?

i have the opportunity to buy test pipes to bypass the catalytic converter for more HP is it reall worth it to get those or just stick with a full cat back exhaust? i heard that the HP the test pipes produce isn't that much and it will make the car very loud.... any suggestions?

It will make it loud just go with a high-flow cat and keep it legal and not rape the enviornment

I ran a test pipe for a while and it sounded pretty raspy. Get a high flow instead

testpipes = lose

and they dont really improve that much horsepower unless you are going FI

"High flow" pertains to the catalytic converter, where as "catback" is a name given to the part of the exhaust that goes right after the catalytic converter including the muffler itself.

Yes, if you're looking to mess around with your exhaust system, a nice new catalytic converter or a high flow catalytic converter and an after market cat back system will do the trick.

my car is so raspy ad *** sounding, it has a hollowed cat and sounds so ***, your car will always sound the best with the cat.
