Hey guys I recently got into an accident and my hood was destroyed. I'm in the process of looking for a replacement and I'm wondering if I should just get an replacement or should I spend a little more and get a carbon fiber hood? I heard Seibon makes good carbon fiber products...can anyone confirm this? I just wanted to be sure a carbon fiber hood is worth the extra cash.

I was in a similar situation about 6 months ago an I opted for carbon fiber. I bought a Seibon, and it was just a straight bolt on. No adjustments, lined up perfect.

I drive a 5th gen, so I can't attest to the fitment of the Seibon on a 4th gen, but I've been more than happy with my Seibon.

Hey thanks for the recommendation man! I really think I am gonna go the carbon fiber route. And I like the OEM ones the best. I don't want any extra styling. I think the stock style looks best in my opinion.

So you didn't have any problems with fitment? No gaps or anything like that?

Anyone running a VIS hood? I have been looking at one of these for a while....wanted the vent at the front to improve cooling of the engine due to the turbo setup.
