Carbon fiber hood weight

Does anyone know how the carbon fiber hood weighs in compared to the stock hood? Does it weigh less or more?

Stock 4th Gen hood weighs something like 44 pounds. Picking up a nice 12lb CF unit would be nice.

Not really. If anything, you might get more wheel hop. I got more wheel hop b/c I chopped off weight w/ my tiny, Oddessey battery (dry cell), and w/ the c/f hood. I think I'll try some motor mount inserts to help reduce the hop. But w/ turns, etc., you won't really notice much difference.
