Carbon Fiber hood questions??

I damaged my hood over the weekend... so since its going to need replaced anyway, I'm thinking maybe I'll get a CF hood. Does anyone know how much they cost for a 4th gen?? is one brand better than the others etc??

Any info is appriciated

Price will depend on quality ... a lot of the cheaper cf hoods out there are 99.9% fiberglass with a thin layer of cf cloth ... it looks like the others and it's light weight ... but there not very strong. Spoon Sports makes a very nice cf hood for our cars, if you have the extra $$ to spend, you may want to look into one of those.

mine is invader style from VIS...everyone seems to like it...only complaint is that many Cf hoods oxidice and turn yelloish...I have heard you can clercoat when you buy to extend life....I have also heard conflicting stories on the colored CF (for example I have heard that the Red CF turns Orange AND that that Red CF wont oxidize...?) I have heard Fiber Images are better...
