car won't start after swap

I finished putting my motor in last night and i went to start it and it wouuldn't start. we tried various things for a little bit and realized i am getting no fuel. We figure out that it is the fuel pump is not turning on, the fuse is fine. today i tried putting my stock ecu back in and the pump still doesn't come on. Everything was working fine when i pulled the motor. Anyone have any ideas?

You're sure the injectors are fine (not clogged, etc?)?

i double checked the wiring on the dist, i wired it for the external coil. i didn't check the injectors because im not even getting fuel to the rail. i took the line off the fuel rail connected to the fuel filter and tried to start it and no gas spayed out. i don't hear my fuel pump turning on so i think it is that, but i don't know what to do with it

When you turn the key to on position you should hear a click then the fuel pump, then another click which turns the pump off. The click comes from the main relay. This is the only part that's connected to the fuel pump, no fuses. Use common sense from here to figure out what the problem might be.

also doin g a swap you shouldnt have any feul changes other than the injectors...so if it was working when you took it out something else is your proble...did you use your original harness in the car, or the JDM one? i hope you used your original one..anyways...your injector resistor is wired up right?

i have it running now and pretty damn good to, the reason it wouldn't start is because i forgot to hook up the ground to the thrermastat housing. helms didn't mention that one and it sliped my mine, and the reason it was hesitating was because the knock sensor didn't have a good connection at the ecu.
