well i jus replaced both inner tie rod cause it went bad, but the car still shakes while driving and braking. anyone kno what else could be the problem. so far i changed inner tie rods, resurface both rotors, brand new pads, checked bearing( feels fine). im gonna do alignment n balancing tomorrow, u think that would do the trick, i dont wanna spend more money n its gettin really annoying. one more thing, the car feels like theres nomore control over it, feels like i have to hold on the steering wheel at all times. someone help me out plz thx!
i had a similar problem and i had it aligned and balanced, but it ended up being my tires. There could be a high spot in your front tires or just uneven wear if you are lowered that much. A new set of tires and i was good to go.
ok i did alignment , balanced all four wheels n the problem still occurs. what else can be wrong, ive spent alot so far, close to 400 in fixing this prob yet the prob is still there n im so piss off i wanna sell the frickin car. anyways i checked the cv boot on the axle n it seem like its rip, can this be it? should i replace my axles? when i turn it seems like i have no control over it , seems like i have to turn more than before. an when i brake the steering wheel still shakes, its not as bad as before but it still does it, what are some signs of having a bad axle? someone help me out plz

My lude has a different problem than yours. The steering shakes when I drive over 50 MPH but it doesn't do that all the time either. I reaplaced stock rims with 17" wheels and new tires about two months a go, but my lude had this problem over a year. It just getting worse lately. Last week, I took it for alignment but it didn't help either. My Honda mechanic told me that it could be bushing, so I might take it to him one of the Saturdays to let him check.

Maybe its time to bite the bullet and get a good dealership approved assessment of the problem, if its wrong and you fix it well then ... maybe speak to them beforehand on getting it fixed..
Dont be afraid to mention contacting head office if they give you the wrong solution to the problem.
I have suspension probs too ... mostly 4ws but I think theres a steering angle sensor in the steering column and since a bad alignment, and another honda alignment done after my 4ws steers the car left to right when im on the freeway .. Honda didn't do a proper alignment, that much I know because they said they couldnt get the lock pin in the 4ws unit. I'm going to replace that and get another alignment and go hard on them until i have tight steering again ..
If it is bushings ... theres a thread somewhere on here that got the energy mount suspension kit and it looked really intense, also this months honda tuner has a lot of info on it when they did a 4door integra.
i think i found the prob, it seems like both of my axles are gone, they want 150 for aftermarket axle with labor. is this cheap? or if anyone near LA area can help me install with a free meal by my treat! if u have the tools to change i can drive up to 40 miles to your house!
long story short, ever since i replace my axles 4 months ago ive been turnin corners hard, not hard everyday but once in a while, i think aftermarket axle just sucks.cant believe ive spend 500+ on this problem!
