Bad O2 sensor? Is it throwing codes?

Fix it quick, unless you have an extra catalytic converter laying around.

Are you throwing any codes? When my car ran rich, I replaced the O2 sensor, did the usual tune-up and advanced my timing. No black smoke at all now, even at WOT in VTEC.

thats the thing i have a testpipe no cat so i guess its normal every once in a while to do that but it still eats gas badly i guess i should take it in to a honda specialist get everything straight.

Just how bad is your gas mileage? I doubt a Honda "specialist" will do **** for you. If it comes down to it, get a VAFC and a couple hours of tuning on there. You'll net more power and have a better running engine. Now could that "specialist" do that for you? Sorry, I just hate dealerships

Fast&furiuslude, 275 to a tank sounds OK. That's what I get when I get on average. But then I drive constantly at 4k+ rpm.
