Car problems in winter?

Today I went out to start my car in the morning and it seemed to chug really slow but it finally started. Then, the pedals seem harder than usual to press down. When shifting, its harder to shift through the gears. My car seems like its cheap right now for some reason. Is all of this normal or am I having problems with the car?

hahaha, it's normal. Basically everything will work a little slower and will be a little harder to move. Especially hydraulic stuff - the liquid just starts getting denser. Clutch will probably be pretty stiff, gearing shifting will be tougher, and steering a little harder. All normal stuff. Reminds me of when my friend bought his first manual car. He had it for a few months and then the first day it got cold outside he calls me up all freaked out because everything is stiff.

yeah... let it sit for a few weeks then see how it feels I went out last night and took the cover off my lude and started it up just to run it a little bit... she didn't seem to happy about having to start... the guages weren't completely bright for a few min.. my clutch was really stiff and the gears were really really tight. I want summer so bad.....

My car does the same thing, its been under 10 degrees for the past few weeks, once the car is warmed up it seems to help a lot though.

aside from all the stuff people already mentioned, i also noticed my brake pedal was firmer today than it usually is. was really weird having my brakes just suddenly get better. i'm guessing it's because of the extreme cold making the rubber brake lines stiffer.

O.k. I went out to my car and tried to turn it over, and it wouldn't start. I tried like 4 times and nothing Then I remembered I had my Injector resisitor box out, I put it back in and turned the car over
That's what I get for starting work and not finishing it.

yeah.. this cold better go away... i hate when they say it's only going to be a high of 14F. My bro was complaining about his lude a few weeks ago cause of the bitter cold. he said 2nd gear just stopped working....i get in and it works perfect just stiff cause of the cold... since he got it in the summer and just learned manual.. he thought he could just tap it into gear
