I picked up a new radiator from Advanced Auto for my '93 VTEC. When I tried to mount the fans they didn't even come close to fitting. When I went to another parts store that said they had one for the VTEC, it was the same one that didn't fit. Why does it keep coming up as this part but it's not the right one? I'm afraid if I order one online they'll just ship me the same thing these places keep trying to give me. Help please, I have no radiator and obviously now no car.

It'll be more expensive, but if you definately need the right part ASAP go to your local HONDA dealership..

The dealership would take a week to get one. Plus it's $540.

So I finally found the part online and the girl explained the problem. They (autoparts4honda.com) are the ones that places like Pepboys and Advanced order from. She said they just order bulk of the S model one because it's requested more. Then they just try to pass it off as the one for the VTEC too. So don't expect your local parts store to give you the right part I guess, always take in the OEM part number.
Those fu(kers better take this radiator back too.
