Cant wont start.

Hey guys, i have a 93 prelude, running on a h22a1, and my car wont start. It just barely happened and im not sure whats the problem. There is oil, gas, and im pretty sure its not the battery. The car does give off this repulsive smell as i try to get it started. since i didnt know what i was doing, i got it towed home, and the dude said something about my distributor because there wasn't any spark. My car starts by kicking the clutch, high beam and switch on the ignition.

any thoughts or suggestions?

does it crank when u try to start it? if it cranks but wont start it could be ur distrubtor. mine h22 did that too. i try to start it but it just crank and wouldnt start at all. than i replace the distrubtor and it started right up

maybe a starter? My starter would just grind and smell almost like a burnt clutch, and if its not engaging fast enough then it wouldn't produce spark. just a suggestion.

lol yeah, my car did smell a few times, but i dont think thats the problem. Thanks for the suggestion. It could possibly be the distributor, cause its just cranking everytime. whats a good typical distributor?

Another h23 distributor would do the trick.
Or just take a look at it maybe u wired or connect something wrong.
