cant tell my 'lude!

hey all.

i have a 1993 prelude and i cant determine what model it is! whether its an s, si, or anything like that.

it has full power options, sunroof, 4 wheel disk breaks, ABS, no 4 wheel steering. if there is anything else i can tell to help give an idea of what model it is please let me know. i cant find chassis code because previous owner painted over everything. please any info is greatly appreciated.

What are the first 6 numbers/letters of you vin? It's most likely a SI since it has ABS. Could be a vtec model but that's pretty obvious if you open the hood.

It's a S model then. Are you sure it has ABS? S models didn't come with ABS.

The h22a1 came in the bb1 in Canada, Australia, and the USA. Although, yours probably came out of a USDM Prelude. They always refer to it as the "VTEC" model, as it is the only USDM 4th gen that came with VTEC.

I can't tell mines either, I thought it was an S but it has ABS so maybe it's Si. Guy who sold it to me told me it had an h22 and he swapped it for h23 which is what it has now. O_o

You keep saying it's an S when IT OBVIOUSLY IS NOT. The base model DID NOT come with ABS which you have. Look at your VIN and end this thread, either gonna be BB1 or BB2 as 4th, 5th and 6th characters.

dude chill haha, im asking because they guy i bought it from did a lot of stuff to it, like he put in an automatic dash and console, he did a complete 95 conversion to it too. the abs is something he added. im just trying to make sure i know exactly what i have. if you dont like it you dont have to read it.
