Hey guys, I just got my car out of the shop and I can't pop the hood. When I pull the latch, the hood will not pop open.
this totally sucks. Is there any way that I can open it without damaging the car?

try and locate the cable that goes the hood, behind the handle, use a pliers to get a good grip on the cable and pull. this happend on my friends civic, and thats what we did.

..If thats the case, which I hope isn't, then you are going to havta use a screw driver and slide it over the latch lock, and slide it till it clicks then just do what you normally would do...

yep. the rubber weather stripping on the underside of the hood might get in the way. i've seen a guy open a hood like this w/ one of the rods that holds down the spare tire
