cant find the port for ecu read please help

okay so I finished my h22 swap in my 93 runs starts fine but I go to drive it and now power it boggs so this guy that supposedly knows hondas came over and could not find the plug to put the reader in to see the codes anyone know where the obd1 plug is at he said it was under the passenger dash but I cant find it please help

Did the check engine light come on? If not, then there's no codes.

There is no port for a reader, just a connector behind the radio that you have to short out which causes the check engine light to flash. Number of flashes = the code.

ya just finished the swap and there is a 3 prong connector to plug into it but you still have to read the dash lights its obd1 not zero

hey man I searched long and hard for the answer here and nothing like that came up hey is this not a forum to help people??? Everything sometimes is too specific on here to find what you want thats why I asked I searched first but thanks for the info it helped alot

From my experience, there is more valuable information on this forum than the other prelude forums, but it takes a while to find it. The original members on here knew their stuff before they went into hiding in OT. I just start with the oldest threads and work my way towards the newer ones when I search, because most of the new threads suck. The dead links and missing pictures are a real pain though.....
