Can you use the USDM harness for JDM lights?

The FAQ mentions that the stock harness could be used instead of the JDM H1 and H4 bulbs. Do the US connectors fit in the JDM housing without modificaiton? how does it work...

The 9005 and 9006 bulbs will not fit the jdm housing without modification and the resource for the modification is lost when hp.com when down. You will need the h4 and h1 pigtails. Then you will have to cut the factory headlight harness and crimps the h4 and h1 pigtails.
