can someone help?

i purchased an h22a from h motors. its jdm, sent me a p13 ecu i ordered the subharness from rywire and everything. checked my wiring hundreds of times even ruined a old solenoid by hooking it directly up without going through the clip and still no vtec. throwing code 21, solenoid is good iv checked it many times. the guys at honda-tech told my to ask you guys hopefully someone has some insight.pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! will post pictures if need be

hmmm, it's interesting hondatech recommended someone else.

I'm not sure - I used my old h23 harness with my swap - I wired it up and it worked beautifully. Check the ground on the solenoid.

If that doesn't work, you may be chasing a short in the wire or a loose connection.

Is the H22 in a Prelude? If so, why did you change out the entire wiring harness?

my guess is that it is not in a prelude. my next question is, if it isn't in a prelude, why not a k series?

my bad it is a prelude. 1994. i used my h23 harness and its still not working its grounded ive checked it i still dont have a clue

esy way to figure it out run a wire straight from the ecu pin out to the engine still acheck engingine light then you know its not the harness think easy not hard
