I am buying some Skunk 2 stage 2 cams with new valves, dual springs and titanium retainers. I am getting the head ported and polished while it is off ad getting the new stuff put in. My question is....with the extra power will my stock engine with 146,000 miles be able to take it? The car is only taken to the strip about twice a month and doesn't smoke when the gas is stepped on!

the beauty of honda i think yes, if u had a ford...well if u had a ford it wouldn't of made it to 146k miles

you should be fine. since your in there i would suggest spending the extra $$$$$ and replacing all of your upper seals. also i would consider a pair of cam gears and dyno test later on, so that you tune in your skunk2 cams. good luck!
