Something is awkward if the only thing you're worried about is the headrest. Headrest would be the last thing I'd worry about. That's like saying you'd rather a F22 rather than an H22 because SOHC looks better.

btw, if this doesn't make sense, prolly cuz I'm drunk

I don't know, just not a fan of the look is all. I'll probably get it and will fall in love with them, but right now I'm jsut brainstorming. I think I'm going to focus on a good quality stereo system before the leather so it'll be a while before I get the leather anyways.

well sit in them first and see how good they feel. the only complaints i've ever heard is from bigger guys who can't really fit in them like they should. other than that, i've never heard anything bad about them.

also, having the "headrest" already connected to the body of the seat is technically safer if you're in an accident where you get hit from behind. besides back in the early 90's the lude was the only car besides the NSX that had only 2 piece seats, something else you might want to think about, it being unique and all.
