It's not an issue of anyone can help you. It's an issue if anyone will. I'm in a helping mood ATM so:

1) You might just need to replace the O rings under the valve cover that go around the spark plug holes.

2) Is the CEL on?

3) Have you done any work under the hood recently? Any other problems with the engine that started recently? Hesitation, stalling, overheating, weird noises, anything like that?

you can get plug seals or w/e they're called at advance or autozone or w/e thats near you . if its running like **** the timing could have jumped a tooth . CEL means check engine light when you jump the blue connector . you can see if there is any hoses unplugged for a vacuum leak

you need to replace the valve cover gasket and o-rings that go on the spark plug holes.....or just the o-rings.

this is most likely what is causing the oil to get in there. if it's not coming from there, then you have bigger problems.....

how have you driven the car since the timing belt was done? when you take the valve cover off to do the o-ring gaskets (they are on the valve cover....not the head), then you can check to make sure the timing is right.

NOTE: this is for an accord, but the parts are probably the same, or at least the o-rings look the same...

Victor Reinz/Valve Cover Gasket (VS50072) | Valve Cover Gasket | 1993 Honda Accord 4 Cylinders 2.2L FI | AutoZone.com

it's the fat looking o-rings on the top of the middle, not the smaller shiny looking ones that you need

If that's the case, the valve cover had to be removed to change the timing belt. The shop probably forgot to put the spark plug hole o rings back on or they didn't seat right.

unless you're the shop that did my timing belt I asked them if they would adjust the valves while they were doing the timing belt. the guy at the front desk said that I would have to replace them valve cover gasket because they would have to take the valve cover off..... The front desk guy had no idea

Don't get an aftermarket gasket, they suck, seen them leak after only being on the car for a short time. Get the entire set, valve cover gasket, tube seals and the grommets that are under the acorn nuts. Also, don't forget to apply honda bond or permatex ultra gray to the 8 corners where the humps for the cams are.

And do yourself a favor while you have that valve cover off, check to see if the engine is time, and hope that it's just the oil in the plugs

Spark plug tube O-rings is your problem. May as well throw on a new VC gasket as well if it isn't new.

Why have there been people on this site lately having some hack shop work on their car and they get the car back with things no longer working and they don't go back to the shop and demand they fix it? Instead they come here... I don't get it...

Would you want to give someone that already f*cked up your car once the opportunity to f*ck it up again?
