personally, I would go to a mechanic... mainly because the probe and the prelude(to my knowledge) are not very similar.

Camshaft install isn't as hard as you think. Pick up a helms manual for your car. It will show you step by step how to un-install your currently cams and reinstall the new ones. Make sure you get new cam seals (can be bought at Honda or Discount Auto Parts), assembly grease, and new gaskets. As for tools you'll need a basic metric mechanics tool kit, a torque wrench, flat head screwdriver, set of metric wrenches, 5mm pins (to hold cams in place).. Fully read the chapter one camshaft removal/installation before you touch anything! And make sure to mark your distributor before removing it. Set the motor to TDC (there's marks on the cam gears, under drive pulley, flywheel, and there's another one that I’m missing.. anyhow ... just get the book, read it before doing it. If you have questions or need help, pm me and I'll be glad to assist you. Btw, pick up adjustable cam gears at the same time if you have the extra $ and have your car dyno tuned so you get the most out of your new cams. Also pick up a FPR and an S-AFC, in your case you could go with a V-AFC and have it all tuned at the same time ... you'll be shocked at the gains you get! Just trying to help..

Yeah, the cams are pretty simple and straight foward to install, but the springs might be harder. So you might want to bring it to a shop for the springs, its all up to you though,

Yeah if I were you I would take off the head yourself and then take it to a shop for the springs. You need some tools to do valve springs correctly.

And then do the camshafts your self so you save money by taking out the head yourself. Hey if your feeling froggish then do the valve springs yourself and save even more
