Which Cams to get? - Honda Prelude Forum

I am planning on getting come cams soon. I need your suggestions for which is better!

Crower Type S Cams
or
Crower Cams.... Stage 2 or 3.
or
JDM Type S Cams

Give me your suggestions on which will give more power to my JDM H22A. Are there any other things I need to get with the cams to make the car run good? eg: springs? retainers?

depending on what you want...

I just picked up a set of Crower stage 2 with springs and retainers.

Honestly for the $$ I would go with stage 2's. The stage 1's you can get away without upgrading the springs and retainers, supposedly you can with the Type-S as well. Forget the Type S for the $$$ tho.

There is also a special set of stage 2's with not so agressive idle lobes, and supposedly you can get away without changing the springs and retiners on them.
