camming out WHY?

i just did a h22a swap in my 92prelude si but the motor came with the jdm wire harness so i had to put my h32 harness and i did not hook up the vtec b/c i could not find the right plugs on the ecu and it slower than my knockin
h23. is the vtec makin it cam out or is it something else??

Camming out = red lining?

You should hook up that VTEC solenoid and check back when that's done...

BTW, it will red line at 6500 if the engine isn't warmed up

Really?

You use the h23 harness and add two wires to hook up the vtec selenoid.

You did not hook up vtec there fore you can't engage vtec. The engine will cutout and not engage vtec which is why you are "camming out at 6.5".

What you are basically asking is that you just built a computer, didn't hook a moniter/screen and now you can't see anything.....
