I have a Sony handheld camera and i want to mount it somewhere in my car. I know that there has to be a way that i can make some sort of custom (sturdy) mount. Has anyone done this, or does anybody have any ideas. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

The way I mounted my camera was this. I put some paper towels over the top of it, then I flipped the screen around so I could see what it was seeing. Then I positioned it so you could see out the front windshield, see me in the driver seat somewhat, and see far enough down to see the shifter moving. Then I duct taped it down with like 15 pieces of tape going all across the rear speaker deck. Used the remote to start and stop recording. It came out well, I am sure a custom metal mount would work better, but I decided to spend $0 for a ghetto rigged one. Good Luck...

tried it.. wont work well.. tips over too easy.. On ntpog's web site the have instructions on how to make for for the 5th gen. it should help you to get an idea then just make it work for the 4th gen.
gotoa junk yard... find a old ragged ass used Head rest from another car (i know we dont have em) but then you can gut it.. and use those 2 spokes... stick the camera inside it..after its gutted and secure it in there.. then you can take those 2 posts... set them along the seats... and tape it to the head area of our seats? like... take a strip of duct tape.. aobut 3 feet long.. then take ANOTHER strip and put the 2 sticky sides together... that way it doesnt get crap on your seats. Then you basically made yourself a seat belt.. then go aroudn the head of the seat around the 2 poles. And pull it tight and tight it off.... that MIGHT work? i dunno... thinking out my ass early in the morning. hehe
I know whats how some accord owners did it.. but they have headrests.. so they just got old ones that fit, and gutted them and put the poles right back in.. hehe
