say i get the tein ss (i want some) and only drop the car an inch to an inch and a half.....would a camber kit be necessary to retain the proper alignment, i know the camber can be adjusted like +/- 1.5° or something like that. would you have to get one ?

Shoulda searched, but you can't tell by saying you're going to drop so much and know how bad camber will be off. You have to drop it, get an alignment and go from there. Most likely with only an inch to and inch and a half camber will be negative but within specs. Our Preludes have no camber adjustment without camber kits.

but they do adjust it at the tire place....

Maybe they made adjustments to caster or toe and it affected camber. But the car has no independent camber adjustment stock. Refer to this thread: how should i have my alignment done for best performance (more)
