Camber kit installation question(s)...

I have a Ingalls style camber kit, I installed them the other night just curious (since In am going to check everything over for loose bolts now since I have driven the car before it goes in for an alignment) with the kit should they be as tight as the factory camber kit was in the control arm? The stock ones didnt budge at all in the arm, more like they moved on the rubber bushing that the sleeve is in, the kits I have are rubber bushing style aswell so should these be in as tight as the stock ones were or should I leave some play in them so they will move with the suspension....? Another question I have is that I notice the new camber kit is narrower then the stock camber kit so as I was tightening the new kit the arms where the bolt goes in was bending, should I put a washer in on either side of the new kit to make up for the size difference or no? I have done this before on my integra but the integra arms are narrower and they fit snug in the opening.... Thanks for your advice....

Well first off the the car doesn't come with stock camber kits. As far as the aftermarket kits go I've used a couple of different ones. Infact I've used the acutal ingalls brand ones too. All of them fit just like the stock pivot mounts on the upper control arm. They should fit either snug or perfect with out any space on either sides of the bushings. When you install it there shouldn't be any movement beyond letting the control up move up and down. If you're tightening the bolts and it's actually bending then you either have a really bad kit or the wrong one for the application.

Well I just ment the stock upper mounts that to me give the stock camber to the car, didnt mean them as a kit lol.... Thanks for the info I will look into this.... Mine are some cheap knockoff ones that I was told were for the prelude setup.... I bet they are civic intended ones and the guy sold them to me saying they are for the prelude since they are the same style mounts..... Its not bending the arms for movement just meanint the are slightly bending the arm hold mounting area intowards the kit.... not bending the entire arm.... Thanks for the info....
