Calling for help (tranny Help) socal

Whats happening guys? Well, community of po.com, this is a call for help. I cracked the clutch housing case and need to replace my tranny. From what i was told, my tranny is ****ed, a mechanic told me i blew the differential. well the shop is basically full at this moment so they cant facilitate my needs at this moment. Well i have the tools at my house but the only thing i need is a tranny and somebody to help me drop the tranny and put in the new one. I will pay you with beer and food + money. Im located in North county in oceanside. If anybody can help or explain how this could possibly happened please chime in or pm me.

Thanks,
Carlos

I know there are some neighborhood mechanics out there. Come on.... hell, if you know where a tranny might lie, that could be beneficial.

What exactly did you crack? The transmission? the bell housing? Is there tranny fluid leaking everwhere? And how does this mechaning know you blew your differential? What were the circumstances of the failure?

it looks like i cracked the clutch housing. Yes there was tranny fluid leaking everywhere. Honestly i dont know how the mechanic thought i blew my differential. Doesnt make sense. Ill tell you how it went. Driving to work normally. 65-75 mph normal driving. Got near my work and as i began to go up an incline i heard a small clunk from the engine(most likely the case cracking) and i pulled over and she was bleeding like a stuck pig.
